The Normal CornBelters (39-31) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 14-3 win over the Rockford Aviators (41-29) at The Corn Crib.

A three-run double by Richard Lucas and a groundout by Ozney Guillen helped the Normal CornBelters score four runs in the eighth. The Normal CornBelters had three hits in the inning.

Lucas racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Normal CornBelters.

The Normal CornBelters relied on Kevin Johnson to eat up innings en route to the win. Johnson pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out four.

It was a good day at the plate for the Rockford Aviators' Justin Fox. Fox went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Kyle Hassna (8-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
