A great effort by Casey Henn hoisted the Florence Freedom (18-23) to a 10-1 win over the Rockford Aviators (24-14) on Wednesday at Aviator Stadium.

The Florence Freedom got the win thanks in large part to Henn's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Henn allowed no earned runs on two hits and three walks over seven innings.

The Florence Freedom blew out the Rockford Aviators thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. A three-run double by Ozzy Gonzalez helped the Florence Freedom score three runs in the eighth. The Florence Freedom had two hits in the inning.

Gonzalez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Florence Freedom.

Will Du'Pont was solid at the plate for the Rockford Aviators. Du'Pont went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Roberto Padilla (1-2) took the loss for the Rockford Aviators. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
