Tyler Wirsu kept the Richmond RiverRats (20-33) off the board during his seven innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (32-23) beat the Richmond RiverRats, 6-0.

Wirsu struck out three and allowed one walk and five hits.

The West Virginia Miners blew out the Richmond RiverRats thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The West Virginia Miners scored three runs in the seventh on the West Virginia Miners scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Zach Sterry, an RBI double by Dan Ward, and an RBI single by Dom Iero.
