Matt Wivinis kept the Quincy Gems (23-29) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Danville Dans (29-24) beat the Quincy Gems, 14-0.

Wivinis struck out four and allowed one walk and three hits.

The Danville Dans continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Danville Dans scored four runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. A three-run home run by Zack Gibson helped the Danville Dans score three runs in the third. The Danville Dans had three hits in the inning.

Gibson racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Danville Dans.

Tyler OShea ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked three and struck out one.
