Andy De Jesus collected three hits as the Terre Haute Rex (34-11) took home a 6-1 victory over the Jamestown Jammers (24-22) at Diethrick Park on Thursday.
He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the seventh inning.Mason Kutruff picked up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Kutruff pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out three.
Matt Shannon was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Terre Haute Rex batters and allowing zero runs.
Pat Mace couldn't get it done on the bump for the Jamestown Jammers, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
