He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.Tyler Slepski picked up the win for the Butler BlueSox. Slepski allowed one earned run, seven hits and two walks while striking out two over eight innings of work.
Joba Ferrell was solid at the plate for the Richmond RiverRats. Ferrell went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.
Joe Pourier (2-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
