Trent Armstrong held the Chillicothe Paints (16-14) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Champion City Kings (9-20) to a 7-0 victory.

Armstrong allowed two hits, two walks and struck out four.

Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Champion City Kings blow out the Chillicothe Paints. An RBI single by Ridge Winand and a groundout by Bradley Macciocchi during the first inning and a groundout by Sean Kennedy and an RBI single by Matthew Priebe in the second inning fueled the Champion City Kings' offense early.

Priebe boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Champion City Kings.

Jake Shields couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chillicothe Paints, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
