The Kokomo Jackrabbits (21-20) took down the Quincy Gems (15-24) 8-2 on Tuesday at Kokomo Muncipal Stadium after slamming the Quincy Gems with five runs in the sixth inning.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits scored in the sixth on a single by Shea Molitor, a single by CJ Price, , an RBI single by Chris Amato, an RBI single by Nick Martin, a single by Martin, and a single by Milo Freeman.

Price racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Kokomo Jackrabbits.

Ryan Fritze's five strikeouts helped the Kokomo Jackrabbits to the victory. Fritze allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over five innings.

Justin Wylie was hot from the plate for the Quincy Gems. Wylie went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Jake Busiek (0-3) took the loss for the Quincy Gems. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
