Joey Fiske drove in three runs, helping the Danville Dans (9-9) to a 5-2 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (11-7) on Wednesday at VA Memorial Stadium.

Matt Wivinis's seven strikeouts helped the Danville Dans to the victory. Wivinis allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Deion Tansel paced the Chillicothe Paints at the plate. Tansel went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Adam Niemeyer held the Danville Dans scoreless for six innings. Niemeyer allowed four hits, three walks and struck out two.

Patrick Riehl (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
