A six-run explosion in the tenth inning lifted the Kokomo Jackrabbits (4-2) to a 9-3 win in 10 innings over the Springfield Sliders (3-3) at Robin Roberts Field on Tuesday.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits scored in the tenth on a two-run single by Charlie Coghlin, an RBI single by Evan Warden, an RBI single by Chris Amato, an error, and an RBI single by Milo Freeman.

Sal Tormina was solid at the plate for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Tormina went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third, fifth, and tenth innings.

Ryan Fritze had an impressive outing against the Springfield Sliders' lineup. The Springfield Sliders managed just three hits off of Fritze, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Jarrett Bednar recorded his second win of the year for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He allowed two runs over four innings. Bednar struck out four, walked one and gave up three hits.

Jose Marin (0-2) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
