Alex Miklos collected three hits, sparking the Butler BlueSox (2-3) to a 3-2 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (2-3) on Sunday at VA Memorial Stadium.

Tyler Slepski brought the heat against the Chillicothe Paints during his outing. The Chillicothe Paints managed just two hits off of Slepski, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Chillicothe Paints' Tanner Allison dominated the Butler BlueSox's batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Cody Jackson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Derek Hendrixson couldn't get it done on the hill for the Chillicothe Paints, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
