The Ontario 2 offense too much for the New Brunswick in 11-0 rout

The Ontario two (5-2) jumped out to an early lead on the New Brunswick (4-3) and captured an 11-0 victory on Sunday at St. Patricks .

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Ontario two to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Sean Bignall, an RBI single by Ian Campbell, a two-run single by Campbell, and an RBI single by Troy Black during the first inning and a groundout by Jamie Smith, a single by Brendan Emmett, an RBI single by Jerome Smith, , and in the second inning fueled the Ontario two's offense early.

Bignall paced the Ontario two at the plate. Bignall went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

The New Brunswick couldn't get anything going as long as Paul McKenna was pitching. The New Brunswick managed just one hit off of the the Ontario two's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Jake Waugh (1-1) took the loss for the New Brunswick. He allowed eight runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
