Stanley Dean was cold coming off the bench, but Dean warmed up quickly as Dean stroked a key pinch-hit single in the five to lead the Ontario (4-0) to a 15-8 win over the Alberta (2-2) on Saturday at 13UStronachStadium.

With the score tied at six, Dean came to the plate and singled.

Dean racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Ontario.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 23 runs and 20 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Dean carried the Ontario's offense and pitching in the victory.

Dean had an impressive outing against the Alberta's lineup. Dean held the Alberta hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

The Ontario blew out the Alberta thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits.
