The Ontario (3-0) pounded the Saskatchewan (1-1) on Saturday 9-2 at Beazley in seven innings.

The Ontario scored four runs in the fourth on the Ontario scored in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Bruce Yari, an RBI double by Keifer Quick, a two-run single by Jay Peresic, and a two-run single by Peresic.

Quick had a hot bat for the Ontario. Quick went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

Connor Soulliere racked up nine strikeouts in the the Ontario win. Soulliere allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks over seven innings.

The Ontario couldn't get anything going as long as Tanner Ring was pitching. Ring held the Ontario hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Josh Burke (0-1) took the loss for the Saskatchewan. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
