The British Columbia (5-2) and the Saskatchewan (5-1) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the British Columbia that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-1 win at Cairns Field.

Josh Burgmann racked up six strikeouts in the the British Columbia win. Burgmann allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.

Dolan Kunkel (1-1) took the loss for the Saskatchewan. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
