The Swift Current Indians make the most of 7 hits in 7-5 victory over the Regina Red Sox

The Swift Current Indians (5-1) and the Regina Red Sox (3-2) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Swift Current Indians that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-5 win at Currie Field.

Hunter Owen racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the third inning.

Chad Kim had an impressive outing against the Regina Red Sox's lineup. Kim held the Regina Red Sox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

The Regina Red Sox were led by Hans Ask's hitting. Ask went 2-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Even though Sean Callegari allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. Callegari struck out five, walked four and gave up seven hits.

Justin Blue was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.
