Despite the loss, the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' Evan Mackintosh dominated the Worcester Bravehearts' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Ryan Venditti ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
