The Springfield Sliders (12-38) beat the Lorain County Ironmen 11-4 on Saturday at Pipe Yard after a six-run explosion in the seventh inning.

The Springfield Sliders scored in the seventh on a double by Austin Muench, a two-run error, a single by Riley Spetz, a sacrifice fly by Corey Dempster, a double by A J Fritts, an RBI single by Zach Schira, and a two-run error.

Will Schneider got on base two times in the game for the Springfield Sliders. He scored three runs and had one RBI.

Tyler Feece got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Devin Daugherty (0-5) took the loss for the Lorain County Ironmen (18-33). He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
