Robert Pettet went 2-2 as the Palm Beach Blazers (17-10) took home an 8-3 victory over the South Florida Breakers (12-15) in seven innings at Broward College on Sunday.
He singled in the first innings and doubled in the sixth inning.The South Florida Breakers couldn't get anything going as long as Will Rutledge was pitching. Rutledge held the South Florida Breakers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Duncan Reynolds (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked three and struck out none.
