Tyler Schwanz collected three hits, sparking the Boca Raton Lightning (15-12) to a 10-5 victory over the South Florida Huskies (13-6) on Monday.

The South Florida Huskies couldn't get anything going as long as Kyle Bender was pitching. Bender held the South Florida Huskies hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Peter Sitaris did his best to jumpstart the offense for the South Florida Huskies, reaching base four times. He singled in the fifth inning.

Charles Davis improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Boca Raton Lightning. He allowed three runs over three innings. Davis struck out six, walked four and gave up three hits.

Drew Pierson couldn't get it done on the mound for the South Florida Huskies, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
