The Ontario take out the Quebec with help from Ervin, 7-2

The Ontario (2-1) beat the Quebec (0-4) 7-2 in seven innings on Saturday at BBoys Vaughan Grove one behind Jake Ervin, who went 2-4.

He singled in the first and third innings.

Connor Lipinski struck out seven, paving the way for a the Ontario win. Lipinski allowed no earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.

The Ontario couldn't get anything going as long as Pierre-Olivier Avoine was pitching. Avoine held the Ontario hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Conor Angel (0-2) took the loss for the Quebec. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
