The South Florida Breakers (9-6) beat the Palm Beach Xtreme (7-12) 6-4 on Tuesday at Broward College behind Adonys Wright, who went 3-3 at the plate.
He singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.The Palm Beach Xtreme had no answer for Duncan Reynolds, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Reynolds held the Palm Beach Xtreme hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Alex Roberts racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Palm Beach Xtreme. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Dustin Hanley recorded his second win of the year for the South Florida Breakers. He allowed one run over two innings. Hanley struck out one, walked two and gave up four hits.
Robert Guarnieri ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
