The Lake Norman Copperheads (13-10) pounded the Carolina Vipers (10-14) on Monday 14-5 at Huntersville, NC.

An RBI single by Pierce Suttles and a home run by Joe Bertone helped the Lake Norman Copperheads score five runs in the seventh. The Lake Norman Copperheads had four hits in the inning.

Bertone racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lake Norman Copperheads.

Hunter Dodson pitched lights out for the Lake Norman Copperheads. Dodson held the Carolina Vipers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five.

Ed Speakman racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Carolina Vipers. He homered in the second inning.

Hunter Hamilton got his second win for the Lake Norman Copperheads despite allowing five runs over six innings. Hamilton struck out nine, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Austin Wynn (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
