Kyle Cedotal tossed a shutout to lift the Quincy Gems (25-15) to a 2-0 win over the Hannibal Cavemen (17-21) at Quincy Stadium in seven innings.

Cedotal's 10 strikeouts helped the Quincy Gems to the victory. The Quincy Gems' pitcher gave up just three hits over seven shutout innings.

Adam McGinnis racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Quincy Gems. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Dylan Terrell (3-3) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
