Dillon Popovich collected three hits as the South Florida Huskies (7-1) took home a 4-2 victory over the Pompano Beach Clippers (4-5) on Thursday.
He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.The South Florida Huskies relied on Ryan Sinclair to eat up innings en route to the win. Sinclair allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.
Zachary Westcott couldn't get it done on the hill for the Pompano Beach Clippers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
