Church allowed two hits, three walks and struck out five.

Matthew Chavarria pitched lights out for the Terre Haute Rex. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of Chavarria, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Jake Wehde improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Quincy Gems. Wehde struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.
