Ninth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the North Shore Navigators, 12-3

The North Shore Navigators (3-5) rolled over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide 12-3 on Wednesday at The Ball Park after a nine-run rally in the ninth inning.

The North Shore Navigators scored in the ninth on an RBI single by Sean ONeill, a two-run double by James Plaistad, an RBI single by Nick Lops, an error, and a home run by Matt Ramsay.

Ramsay racked up four RBIs on three hits for the North Shore Navigators.

Rob DiFranco brought the heat against the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (1-7) during his outing. The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide managed just one hit off of the the North Shore Navigators' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Paul McDonough racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Kyle Edwards couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed no runs.
