The West Palm Beach Eagles (2-0) beat the South Florida Breakers (0-2) 4-3 on Wednesday at Broward College behind Keivan Berges, who went 1-3.

He singled in the first inning.

The South Florida Breakers couldn't get anything going as long as Riley Hodge was pitching. Hodge held the South Florida Breakers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.

Tyler Draughon pitched lights out for the South Florida Breakers. The West Palm Beach Eagles managed just two hits off of the the South Florida Breakers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Kyle Pausche improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the West Palm Beach Eagles. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Jackson McDonald (0-1) took the loss for the South Florida Breakers. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
