It took 10 innings, but the Edmonds (36-7) managed to put away the Pierce (28-13) 6-3 on Friday at David Story Field.
With the score tied at three, Matt Becker came to the plate and singled, plating Jamie Umbinetti and Ryan Archibald.
Becker racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Edmonds. He singled in the first, fourth, eighth, and tenth innings.
Andrew Kemmerer got the win for the Edmonds thanks to 12 strikeouts. Kemmerer allowed three earned runs, 10 hits and one walk over nine innings.
Tyson Erickson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Pierce, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
