A magnificent effort by Zach Johnson carried the Edmonds (35-7) to an 8-0 win over the Lane (27-17) on Thursday at David Story Field.
Johnson held the Lane scoreless for eight innings. Johnson allowed two hits, two walks and struck out six.
Six runs in the first three innings helped the Edmonds blow out the Lane. Olson reached base four times in the game for the Edmonds. He scored three runs and had one RBI.
Travis Kelley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.
