The Qu��bec (0-2) built an early edge on Friday, but the Alberta (2-0) roared back to steal a 3-1 victory at Field three.

An RBI single by Kyle Lawrence gave the Alberta the lead in the seventh inning.

Tyson Kowaluk struck out six, paving the way for a the Alberta win. Kowaluk allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks over five innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Qu��bec's Lacerte-Desmarais Deven. Deven went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.

Hugo Angers was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
