The Darmouth jump on the Saskatchewan early and coast to 13-3 win

The Darmouth (2-1) jumped out to an early lead on the Saskatchewan (1-2) and captured a 13-3 victory on Saturday at Beazley.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed the Darmouth to put the game away early.

A two-run double by Anthony McKinley, an RBI double by Scott Harrison, a groundout by Jordan Crawley, an RBI triple by Kaleb Beaver, and a wild pitch during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Darmouth.

Jesse Holman racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Darmouth. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Glen Harvie recorded his first win of the year for the Darmouth. He allowed three runs over six innings. Harvie struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.

Ty Nostbakken ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
