Jordan Dezotell led the Saskatchewan's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Pat Kelley's seven strikeouts helped the Saskatchewan to the victory. Kelley allowed three earned runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings.

Brady Arsenault (0-1) took the loss for the Prince Edward Island. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
