Tulloch's double propels the British Columbia past the Newfoundland, 6-3

The British Columbia (3-1) built an early lead against the Newfoundland (0-4), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 6-3 win on Saturday at Field two.

The British Columbia scored in the first on an RBI double by Scott Tulloch, a groundout by Robert Wagner, and an RBI single by Mason Cratty.

Jesse Peters had two extra-base hits for the British Columbia. He doubled in the second and fourth innings.

Mike ONeil racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newfoundland. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Ryan Eiswerth recorded his first win of the year for the British Columbia. He allowed three runs over six innings. Eiswerth struck out seven, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Frank Humber couldn't get it done on the mound for the Newfoundland, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out five.
