The bats were busy at Delta Park on Friday, and when the dust cleared the SW Oregon (29-15) had a 9-8 win over the Pierce (24-18) in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 27 hits in the game.
Nicole Cardoza got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.
Molly LaMotte racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Pierce. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Jessica Myers recorded his eighteenth win of the year for the SW Oregon. He allowed four runs over six innings. Myers struck out seven, walked one and gave up seven hits.
Maddy Smith couldn't get it done on the hill for the Pierce, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
