A six-run explosion in the fourth inning led the Douglas (26-6) to a 10-1 win in five innings over the Everett (13-27) at Everett Boys _ Girls Club on Tuesday.

Sydney Brown racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Douglas. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Tori Belton improved to 15-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Douglas. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Sydney Dixon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eighth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked four and struck out none.
