The Treasure Valley (32-9) beat the Columbia Basin (25-14) 3-2 on Friday at Elks Memorial behind Daulton Blackwell, who went 2-3.

The Treasure Valley relied on Tanner Lupton to eat up innings en route to the win. Lupton allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out four over eight innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Columbia Basin's Evan Harder dominated the Treasure Valley's batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

Jordan Webb was solid at the plate for the Columbia Basin. Webb went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

Elliot Mendenhall (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
