The Olympic (15-20) beat the Everett (13-22) 8-5 in seven innings on Monday at Lyons Park behind Greta Coleman, who drove in four runs.
He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings and homered in the seventh inning.Kalinda Kosters racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Everett. He homered in the fourth inning.
Even though Ashley Chamberlin allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. He struck out eight, walked eight and surrendered six hits.
Alisa Ortega couldn't get it done on the mound for the Everett, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked eight and struck out three.
