Hamann held the Lane scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up four.

Jeff Hardy couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lane, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed one run.
