Jonathan Martin went 4-4 at the plate, sparking the Quebec (3-2) to a 5-2 victory in seven innings over the Ontario (1-4) on Friday at Leakos Field.

The Ontario couldn't get anything going so long as Oscar Rodriguez was on the hill. The Ontario managed just one hit off of the the Quebec's pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Nicholas Virdo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
