Edmonds vs Skagit Valley: 7-5

Early lead not enough for the Skagit Valley, drop 7-5 decision to the Edmonds

The Skagit Valley (12-29) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Edmonds (10-16) roared back to steal a 7-5 victory.

While the Skagit Valley led until the sixth inning, the Edmonds worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Alex Deaver.

Arista Honey racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Holly Hawkins racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Skagit Valley. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Sierra Card got his fifth win for the Edmonds despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Card struck out two, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Brie Lopez was charged with his eleventh loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
