The Lower Columbia (20-15) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-5 to the SW Oregon (27-15) on Sunday.

The SW Oregon took the lead in the seventh inning on an RBI double by Meghann McCollum.

Lona Dengler reached base three times in the game for the SW Oregon. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Chelsea Miller racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia. He homered in the first innings and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Jessica Myers got his sixteenth win for the SW Oregon despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Myers struck out six, walked six and gave up nine hits.

Julia Breidt was charged with his ninth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
