Aaron Sandefur hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Sandefur pitched eight shutout innings to carry the Bellevue (22-17) to a 6-0 victory over the Douglas (17-15) at Whalley Park.

The Bellevue blew out the Douglas thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Bellevue scored two runs in the fourth on an RBI triple by Aaron Stroosma and an RBI single by John Bodenhamer.

Brandon Chernoff ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
