The Douglas (23-4) beat the Edmonds (8-15) 6-5 in seven innings on Saturday at Softball City behind Taylor Miller, who went 3-3 at the plate.
He singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the sixth innings.Arista Honey racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Tori Belton got his twelfth win for the Douglas despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered eight hits.
Sierra Card (4-7) took the loss for the Edmonds. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked three and struck out two.
