Michael Forgione went 2-4, sparking the Lower Columbia (23-7) to a 5-2 victory over the Green River (6-23) on Monday at David Story Field.
He singled in the second and fourth innings.Hunter Wells improved to 5-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed two runs over five innings. Wells struck out six, walked one and gave up five hits.
Christian Meister (0-4) took the loss for the Green River. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
