Skyler Barkdull had two extra base hits, helping the Clackamas (7-25) to a 4-2 victory over the Mt. Hood (17-23) on Wednesday at Clackamas Community College Sof.
He doubled in the first and sixth innings and singled in the eighth inning.Vince Rodus brought the heat against the Mt. Hood during his outing. Rodus gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Zane Bambusch put together a nice outing. The Clackamas managed just three hits off of Bambusch, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his four innings of work.
Stephen Parker improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Clackamas. He allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
Jake Dahlberg couldn't get it done on the mound for the Mt. Hood, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
The Clackamas were sparked by Barkdull and Tristan Guillen, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
