The Columbia Basin (18-7) pounded the Blue Mountain (5-21) on Saturday 14-6 at Pendleton, OR.

The Columbia Basin scored seven runs in the fourth on , a two-run error, a two-run triple by Jesse Wantland, an RBI single by Braden Wolgamott, and a wild pitch.

Hayden Meier racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Columbia Basin.

The Blue Mountain couldn't get anything going so long as Steven Danek was on the hill. Danek held the Blue Mountain hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Matthew Jensen recorded his first win for the Columbia Basin even though he allowed five runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Jacob Butcher (0-6) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
