An excellent effort by Cory Main lifted the Tacoma (27-1) to an 11-1 win in eight innings over the Grays Harbor (2-24) on Tuesday at Minnitti Field .
Main put together a nice outing. The Grays Harbor managed just one hit off of Main, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his seven innings of work.
The Tacoma didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Tacoma scored four runs in the final two innings to cap the blowout win. The Tacoma scored three runs in the eighth on an RBI double by Matthew Hirsch and a two-run double by Jeremy Spring.
JJ Pino put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Tacoma. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings and singled in the eighth innings.
Derik Rubin (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
