The Olympic outdone by Kumai-Farrell and the Chemeketa, 6-5

The Chemeketa (18-14) beat the Olympic (10-15) 6-5 in seven innings on Sunday at Skagit Valley behind Sharla Kumai-Farrell, who went 3-3 at the plate.

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Greta Coleman racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Olympic. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jessica Hotaling recorded his tenth win of the year for the Chemeketa. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Ashley Chamberlin couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Olympic, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked four and struck out one.
