Brittany Mitchell went 3-3 at the plate as the Columbia Basin (12-13) took home an 8-5 victory over the Centralia (12-12) in six innings on Sunday.
He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the fourth inning.The Centralia couldn't get anything going so long as Janelle Randles was on the hill. The Centralia managed just one hit off of Randles, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.
Kristin Stanley recorded his first win for the Columbia Basin even though he allowed five runs over four innings. He struck out none, walked four and surrendered seven hits.
Brooke Williams was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.
